Vie Gym, a men's only personal training facility, is located on the 32nd floor of Panasonic Tower in the heart of Kuwait City. Best described as where functionality meets luxury, Vie Gym, offers a variety of services in an aesthetic setting.
The design of the space is divided into two main distinctive areas; public and private. The private area is an enclosed free-standing volume where services such as office space, bathrooms, and changing rooms are connected in a linear plan form. This micro-planning method allows a clear area for clients training in a public area with a panoramic view of the Arabian Gulf.
A decorative wall dividing the public and private spaces is incorporated within the design for aesthetic means. The decorative wall contains a crack-like geometric pattern which helps clients be aware of their surroundings with its reflective black mirror. Harsh materials such as stone, wood and black mirror are also used to support the masculine environment.
