**Vastu of Light: Guest Residence in Kolkata**
This 1,500 m² private guest residence in India was designed as a ceremonial and social space for hosting large-scale events. Developed through an integrated approach, the architecture, landscape, and interior follow the principles of Vastu, shaping spatial orientation, light scenarios, materials, and proportions to create a harmonious and expressive environment.
The interior is conceived as a sequence of open, flexible spaces accommodating up to 100 guests, with a strong emphasis on first impressions and visual integrity. Custom-made author installations, sculptural ceiling compositions, and bespoke finishes define the character of the residence, while smart home technologies support seamless control of atmosphere and event scenarios. The project balances monumentality with warmth, translating hospitality, prosperity, and symbolism into a contemporary luxury interior.
