Van Thanh House, designed by SAAN studio, is an ideal living space for a small family, without focusing too much on size or luxury. This charming house takes a unique approach, inspired by the owner's desire for a peaceful retreat for life. The cozy house is designed to blend in with the surrounding residential area and landscape.
The entrance and front yard are designed in harmony with green space and natural light, bringing a fresh and airy living space. The porch is only one step away from the yard, creating a feeling of seamless space and not too separated.
Stepping inside, the living room and dining room are designed in an open space, directly connected to the green garden outside through large glass doors. The design is minimalist but sophisticated, with wood as the main material, creating a feeling of warmth and closeness. This is not only a common living space for the family but also a space connecting people with nature.
The flexible connection between spaces is another highlight of the house. The level of connection between the common living space, the children's bedroom, and the library on the second floor changes continuously according to the shape of the triangular pyramid-shaped void created by the roof.
The master bedroom is designed in a minimalist style, focusing on comfort and tranquility. Large sliding doors offer a wide view of the surrounding landscape. Natural light fills the room, combined with neutral tones such as white, brown, and gray, creating a warm and peaceful space. The furniture is arranged simply but delicately, with armchairs placed near the balcony, creating an ideal relaxation corner.
