Set within the dense fabric of Barcelona’s El Raval district, this office building introduces a forward-looking architectural language while maintaining respect for the neighborhood’s historical scale. Its proportions align with surrounding structures, allowing the project to stand out through design expression rather than height. The result is a contemporary landmark that fits naturally into its context. Underground parking is integrated below grade, freeing the street edge from vehicles and preserving pedestrian space.
The architecture is defined by a glass envelope wrapped in smooth, white curved fins. These elements form the building’s visual identity while performing a climatic role – filtering daylight, reducing solar heat, and improving interior comfort. Green planting woven into the facade brings an additional layer of softness and environmental quality, visually cooling the building and enhancing its urban presence.
The project is driven by a dual objective: innovation and integration. It offers a highly functional workspace while contributing positively to its surroundings – technologically advanced, environmentally considerate, and architecturally expressive. Through material clarity and carefully controlled form, the building demonstrates how contemporary design can coexist with historic city fabric, shaping a progressive yet grounded addition to El Raval.
