Designed by Spectum architects, the residence is implemented in an admirable natural site. One of the most concerns with the project was to scale the house and yard respecting the surrounding landscape. Set into sloping terrain, the house is arranged over a double level, with the front yard deepening as it steps down the hill.
The facade is balanced with a classic finish of wood combined with local textured limestone, that gives the house its modernistic, contextual feel.
The oversized terrace encourages the occupants to step outside and enjoy the breathtaking views of Tbilisi.
Innovative roofing technology is used at the terrace of the house, which electronically regulates the slanting angle of the sunlight and at the same time protects the terrace from the rain.
The project includes a stunning infinite pool directly situated on the first level of the yard, facing the beautiful view of nature.
The main feature of the residence interiors is the natural material palette enriched with the display of the client’s extensive collection of art.
The rich wooden accents and natural tones bring soothing warmth and weight to the entire space. The tonal combination creates a look of confidence, edge, and utmost sophistication.
The dining room and living room are wide open with the dominant fireplace coated with a natural stone pattern, creating a timeless design, set to continue having its moment long into the future.
The staircase design is open and light, free of risers to allow the natural daylight and garden view to penetrate from the vast window at its side. Skylights above the staircase give plenty of sun to both levels of the home.
