Tring Country House
A new home within the Decorum's Green Belt
This site is a former telephone exchange, which had fallen into decay, and is located on the edge of a green belt. Our clients asked us to design a family holiday home in this scenic location, which would be their retreat from the city. Our approach involved capturing as much of the natural landscape from the adjacent picturesque field as possible, while also creating some private space to the rear where the young children could play. The proposal seeks to capture the beautiful views of the site and transform a poor quality site into a tranquil family retreat.
