Located on Rathausplatz in Weil am Rhein, this town hall extension creates a contemporary administrative facility that builds on a dialogue with the existing structure and the surrounding architecture. The four‑storey main volume aligns with the height of the neighbouring residential buildings, resulting in a coherent appearance between the old and new town hall. A two‑storey tower-like element acts as a visual anchor and landmark. A glazed corridor links the new and existing buildings, presenting them as a unified ensemble while maintaining their individual identities.
