The plan involves a store specializing in oral care products such as toothbrushes. It is designed as a space where specialists can recommend the perfect toothbrush for each individual.
Around 100 toothbrushes are displayed. At first glance, one might not notice the differences in toothbrushes, but a closer look reveals various creative innovations in the bristle hardness, head shape, and handles. The intention is not just to facilitate purchases but to create a space where visitors can appreciate these differences, like enjoying the detailed observation of specimens, and delight in the nuances.
Due to the need for a short construction period in a hospital setting, ready-made acrylic cases were repurposed and stacked like bricks. Minimal acrylic screws were used for joining, ensuring maximum visibility. Wooden cases play a structural role in absorbing the overall flexing and distortion.
The display, composed of small stacked units, breaks away from the monotonous design typical of hospitals and exudes a gentle, orderly ambiance. This transparent display, which reminds of frozen flowers, emphasizes the charm of the products themselves, adding a decorative touch to the hospital environment.
