Life is a series of connections made along a journey of discovery. We navigate shifting relationships within and between our past, present and future. Along the way, we’re creating memories, frozen on a pictorial timeline of artefacts.
The Timeline project captures one’s memory lane. The present is represented by the living area – a kitchen-living-dining combination, bright and full of natural light. The placement of internal elements and timber cladding enhances perspective and gives a sense of direction with an undefined ending. Walking through the space, one feels the constant motion that is life.
The past is more distant. It requires us to dig further into the depths of our minds. The resting areas of the apartment are more in tune with the past. Here, abstracted, darker colours prepare you to step into the night and back in time.
