Space is a dialogue between elements of old and new. Light brings people to the faded history, but also to the colorful modernity.

"Tibei" is the earliest large-scale livable area in Tianjin. Now it has developed into a typical mature community in Tianjin, representing the pride of a city and an era.

51 Weijin South Road--Tianjin University of Sport has witnessed the development of the Tiyuanbei (abbreviation of North of Tianjin University of Sport in Chinese pinyin) and accompanied the growth of Tiyuan people in this generation. The former site of the Dogers Baseball Stadium is a precious memory symbol.

The building was reconstructed on the basis of the original site of the Dogers Baseball Stadium, which was once the home court of the Tianjin Lions Team and the first international standard baseball stadium in New China. The original building was built in 1986 and named after the assisted construction of the Los Angeles Dodgers. In 1991, the 16th Asian Baseball Championship and various international friendly matches were held.

Here witnessed the mottled memories of the years.

In order to create a layering effect in the color space, we installed small colored spotlights on the inside and outside of the glass curtain wall. These small floodlights render the space and at the same time display the vertical ribbed plates of the curtain wall. It has not only created a sense of hierarchy in the space, but also highlighted the architectural elements.

The indoor roof is also expressed through dyeing. These dyed lamps are fixed on the vertical ribbed plates of the curtain wall. The color changes are synchronized with the space rendering lamps. Only in this way can we unify the light environment and the building can be more integrated.

The interior of the building is a relatively "complex" spatial structure. After all, here was once the stand of the baseball stadium, which places higher demands on both the architect and us. We need to complete the new space requirements on the basis of the original functions of the building, including lamps arrangement and pipeline layout.

We hope that the lighting design can express the original attributes of the "stand" in the building. The walkers, columns, and beams in the space reflect the story of the history. These rich structures haven already been beautiful, but we still need to complete the new task assigned by the owner. After all, here will be built as a sales office for high-end residential buildings, rendering the space while at the same time completing the functionality. We used a series of combinations of lamps and lanterns to complete the space rendering. These rendered lights must be just right to the point and complementary. You have me in you and you in me. Each element should be not abrupt, but indispensable.

There are functional lamps in the seating area and sand board area ofthe grandstand to meet the lighting needs. These functional lamps are also combined with the spatial structure. PURI's lighting design is never a simple way down lighting. We need to understand the space and find the only best solution. This is our consistent design concept.

On both sides of the "stand" are some functional spaces, restaurants, bars, etc.

What is finally presented is a magnificent symphony, played by both of us with me in you and you in me.

Our light leads people to see a space, to see the history, and to feel modernity.
