The Springs Apartments is an affordable, residential-housing project, constructed of durable materials using innovative sustainable design principles located in beautiful McCall, Idaho. The complex, which consists of one and two story structures, has three residential buildings that contain 36 living units. An additional community building has an office, exercise room, laundry, gathering space, and accessible restrooms.
The project was design using the LEED for Homes rating system and the Energy Star Green Building Program Guidelines. It is anticipated that this project will achieve LEED Platinum. In addition to housing units, the development contains pedestrian/bike pathways, covered bike racks, a bush shelter, outdoor common space with playground and picnic tables, and oil/sand separators and on-site bio-filtration to reduce water pollution.
