The Spiral

Type
STATUS
Concept
“Designed for the people that occupy it, The Spiral ensures that every floor of the tower opens up to the outdoors creating hanging gardens and cascading atria that connect the open floor plates from the ground floor to the summit into a single uninterrupted work space.”
Bjarke Ingels

Developed by Tishman Speyer and designed by noted architectural firm Bjarke Ingels Group, The Spiral enhances the emerging skyline at Hudson Yards with 2.85 million square feet of connected and sustainable Class A office space.

Customized for creativity, open, collaborative and connected workspaces are as natural as they are practical at The Spiral. Sweeping views of Midtown, Central Park, the Financial District and the Hudson River are complemented by soaring ceiling heights, floor-to-ceiling windows and seamless indoor/outdoor space with terraces on every floor.

The Spiral is at the forefront of the redevelopment of Manhattan’s West Side, an eagerly awaited vitalization of one of the city’s most accessible and beautiful areas. As the burgeoning community continues to grow, with green public spaces and parks, endless retail and dining options, and new cultural destinations, The Spiral represents the future of connected workspace for industry leaders.

The Industrial Revolution marked the transition to new manufacturing processes that allowed buildings to reach unprecedented heights, and influenced almost every other aspect of architecture.

The Internet brought along a revolution. Access to information combined with global supply and demand reshaped established conventions and workplace confinements.

The Spiral revolutionizes established conventions in the workplace by seamlessly connecting exterior and interior green space to create natural and practical workspaces.
