Nakheel Mall & The St. Regis Dubai, The Palm

Situated on the world’s largest man-made island, the Palm Tower is a landmark fusion of architecture, hospitality, and retail. Designed by RSP, the 52-storey development seamlessly integrates Nakheel Mall and The St. Regis Dubai, The Palm, creating a destination in its own right—a symbol of luxury, cultural identity, and design excellence.

Inspired by the palm tree, a long-standing emblem of sustenance, hospitality, and community in the Gulf, the tower’s sleek vertical form culminates in a striking summit that echoes the natural elegance of its botanical muse. From its crystalline façade to sweeping interiors, every design element reflects growth, vitality, and rooted luxury.

Nakheel Mall Dubai
At the tower’s base, Nakheel Mall serves as a vibrant retail and lifestyle destination, offering international brands, fine dining, and entertainment. Designed for both residents and visitors, it fosters a dynamic, people-centric environment that seamlessly connects to the tower above.

The St. Regis Dubai, The Palm
Occupying the lower half of the tower, The St. Regis Dubai, The Palm blends contemporary refinement with the timeless elegance of the St. Regis legacy. The hotel features 200 rooms and suites, a business center, a 500 m² meeting space, a grand banquet hall for up to 280 guests, a wellness-focused spa, and multiple dining venues. Direct internal access to Nakheel Mall ensures a fluid guest experience throughout the tower.

The Concept
Nakheel’s vision was to create an iconic vertical destination combining luxury hospitality, exclusive residences, retail, and skyline-defining experiences. RSP responded with a design rooted in simplicity, elegance, and spatial storytelling, transforming height into an experiential advantage. Each level of the tower offers a unique, surprising, and meaningful encounter—from the energy of Nakheel Mall to the refined luxury of The St. Regis, and the dramatic appeal of Aura Skypool and The View.

The St. Regis Residences
Above the hotel, serviced residences offer panoramic views of the Arabian Gulf, Dubai Marina, and the Palm. Each residence maximizes light, space, and skyline connectivity, with exclusive access to podium-level amenities and full St. Regis services, turning everyday living into a resort-inspired experience.

Architectural Vision
“Because of its location on The Palm, we were inspired by the island’s form and the symbolism of the palm tree,” says Michael Magill, Managing Director, RSP Dubai. The design integrates the palm leaf motif throughout the structure, harmonizing the architectural icon with its surroundings. Verdant green walls and landscaped gardens reinforce the tower’s natural inspiration, creating a fluid, graceful composition.

Key Experiences

Aura Skypool: Perched on Level 50, Aura is the world’s highest 360-degree infinity pool. Suspended 200 meters above ground, it wraps around the tower, offering uninterrupted views of Palm Jumeirah, Burj Al Arab, and Ain Dubai. The pool features a lounge and bar, creating ever-changing sensory experiences from sunrise to nightfall.

SUSHISAMBA: On Level 51, this vibrant dining destination blends Japanese, Brazilian, and Peruvian cuisines in a dramatic double-height space with floor-to-ceiling windows, providing a culinary experience as visual as it is flavorful.

The View at The Palm: At Level 52, a public observation deck 240 meters above sea level offers 360-degree panoramas of Palm Jumeirah. Accessible via Nakheel Mall, the experience includes a multimedia exhibition detailing the creation and impact of the island, culminating in one of Dubai’s most breathtaking vantage points.

Since opening in 2021, Palm Tower has consistently attracted visitors, establishing itself as both an architectural icon and a cultural landmark that exemplifies Dubai’s ambition, creativity, and dedication to excellence.
