Design of workation retreat on 2,800sqm lush, hill top property serving as architectural "play ground" for postive development. The 1st stage of the development features a series of off grid cabins and the general infrastructure set up for the entire project including access roads and well as in ground services (grey and black water treatment, electricity etc) and water harvesting and storage.
Nestled into the existing nature, each cabin is a contemporary version of the local 'bahay kubo" (or nipa hut) and will have minimal impact to the land. The open and flexible design allows for various "placemaking" options for up to 7 people per cabin, leaving it with the visitors to decide whether they like to live, work or relax while staying at the Palaone.
