RLP Asia was the Executive Architect and Lead Consultant for The Orbit. Exciting, vibrant events like these exemplify the many positive impacts of RLP Asia’s sustainable, human-centric, future-focused architecture, and we are delighted when the buildings and spaces we work so hard to realise are used to celebrate and inspire people from all walks of life.
The Orbit’s façade resembles a series of interwoven ribbons, forming an undulating set of staircases, bridges and terraces that provide access to a rooftop garden and multiple viewing platforms overlooking the river. The design intent was to create a building to be explored, experienced and animated by the people who visit it.
