The Capsule is a mobile, inflatable structure designed for easy transport. The inspiration came from observing the designer’s daughters interact with house curtains, transforming them into personal hideouts. Whenever the wind created a gap between the wall and the curtain, the girls would hide, play, and chat with imaginary friends. Curtains, while providing light control and privacy, became magical when the wind animated them, sparking the idea for the design. For a 6x6 meter space, the design mimics a curtain’s fluidity, using Rhino and Grasshopper software to create a segmented structure with clear and colored parts, along with portal-like openings.
