In Gurugram, popularly called as India’s Millennium City, DLF wanted to create an alternative residential experience that allows guests to unwind, unplug, and connect to nature and each other. The Camellias Club is an urban oasis that provides different places to socialize and relax, and supports the residents of 9 residential towers in the community. The 160,000 SF bi-level Clubhouse offers world-class amenities and creates a sense of community among the residents – a community within a community. Rockwell Group designed The Camellias Club as well as the master plan for its relationship to the towers and the rest of the site.
Rockwell Group's goal was to create an amenities space that architecturally and programmatically offers an elevated living experience–one that fulfills multiple needs and social experiences, all supporting health and well-being. The emphasis on holistic wellness is reflected in the Clubhouse’s extensive amenities, which include a fitness center, a spa, yoga and Pilates rooms, an indoor pool, juice bar, salon, and barber shop. This sense of wellness is further emphasized by the use of finely crafted materials and organic elements. Custom-designed furniture is contemporary with organic forms; and natural luxurious materials, like white grain marble with a soft watercolor effect, nod to organic and fluid elements.
