The Boston Conservatory, the oldest performing arts conservatory of its kind in the nation, selected Handel Architects in 2012 to design its new studio building in the Fenway neighborhood in Boston. The three-story, 20,000 SF building, which is now under construction, will house a large orchestra rehearsal hall, new dance studios, classrooms, and some of the specialized instruction and practice spaces needed by the Conservatory. Utile, Inc. is collaborating on the design, as well as serving as Architect of Record.
