The Bird´s Nest is an extension to an existing daycare center, intended to be fitted in without reducing the area of the playground. This was done by lovering the terrain, raising the building, and incorporating playground storage underneath it, thereby freeing up extra space for the playground. The cantilevers create versatile intimate spaces on the playground.

The skewed volume adapts the scale of the building and subdivides the interior space. Windows in each corner give close contact to the playground.
