Taiwan Contemporary Art Museum – The Wave
Our competition proposal envisions a contemporary art museum shaped as a continuous architectural landscape—an iconic white “wave” that grows from the waterfront context and guides visitors through a curated spatial journey. The fluid envelope is not a decorative gesture; it organizes circulation, frames views, and filters daylight through calibrated skylights to deliver soft, museum-grade illumination for diverse contemporary exhibitions. At ground level, a generous public plaza and a waterfront promenade extend the museum into everyday urban life—positioning culture as an accessible, civic experience.
