Project description:
Designing a two-story office for a High-Tech company.
The aim of this project was to design an inspiring, current, and dynamic workspace.
The first step was to define the space format as well as the cubical distribution. A low budget and short timeframe were allocated for the project and thereby led us to concentrate on the joint spaces and the main hall.
In the absence of a reception desk, we chose to create an entrance lobby that can also be used as a sitting area; encouraging interaction, work, creative thinking and a space for relaxing.
We have bordered the open work space with a composition of stretched strings, strung between the low walls and ceiling. The strings border the space and create privacy by acting as a conceptual guideline separating workspace from passages.
The kitchen was converted into a ‘Delicatessen' corner by hanging various accessories and tools from the ceiling and by creating a unique recycled wooden wall. We placed a tall bar table adjacent to the wall, overlooking the urban scenery and the Tel Aviv beach.
