The 150,000 square foot dry center is a multi-use wonder that maximizes program capabilities to accommodate the widest variety of activities for its patrons. One half community recreation center and one half competitive tournament center, it is designed with attention to active and passive spaces. Amenities in Allen, Texas expanded with a large regional park for outdoor events, three-level indoor play tower with party room, child watch, walk/jog track with incline and stair features, fitness deck with Beaver Fit system, concessions, flex space for cooking classes, golf simulator room, four classrooms, three group fitness rooms, park & recreation office, community gym with indoor turf capabilities including batting cage nets, a competitive gym with 8 middle school courts/4 stretch high school courts, and lots of comfortable lounge space in the atrium and halls. In addition to meeting program goals, the facility is designed to allow for people to linger before, between, and after a workout, a class, or a game.
