Designated as an NYC Landmark and a National Register of Historic Places site, St. Ignatius Loyola Church engaged Acheson Doyle Partners Architects in an extensive and ongoing restoration of its entire historic campus.
Since 2016, St. Ignatius Loyola Church has partnered with ADP to complete a number of architecture, planning, and campus accessibility projects.
After delivering an initial conditions assessment that informed several major capital improvement campaigns, ADP orchestrated the exterior restoration of the Day Nursery, the renovation of the choir loft, the addition of an accessibility elevator and ramp connecting the Undercroft to the Sanctuary, and the exterior restoration of Loyola School.
Ongoing architectural work includes the exterior rehabilitation of the Church, various infrastructure and communications upgrades, and a holistic suite of Accessibility and Life Safety projects creating elegant campus connections.
