This project is an office space for an entertainment and media company, located in the semi-basement of a serviced apartment building.
We were given a flat, open 400-square-meter floor plate with limited access to natural light — a constraint that shaped much of the design approach.
To address this, we embraced an open-plan layout paired with a minimalist design language. The goal was to maximize horizontal flow and allow natural light to travel more freely throughout the space.
Glass partitions with adjustable blinds were introduced to lightly define zones without compromising the openness or overwhelming the spatial experience. Clean lines and pared-back detailing were used to emphasize the strong horizontal orientation of the site.
With the entire floor left intentionally open, the interior layout was designed to remain flexible and reconfigurable — allowing the space to evolve with the users’ changing needs. In doing so, the project fosters an organic, adaptive rhythm to the way the space is inhabited.
