Cooperation: Piotr Kamiński, Paulina Pankiewicz, Marta Przybył. The thorn house and the pavilion with a drinking room and an orangerie are located in Busko, a spa town in southern Poland. The complex is situated in a spa park, near Maskalis river. Visitors are welcomed here by an elliptic building, covered by a mist. Dark, curved walls built from blackthorn are visible from the distance. They are easily accessible while walking down the radial alleys. The heart of this structure can be reached through one of the three wall cuts. Throughout the labyrinth built from blackthorn branches and fed with salt water, throughout the isolated space with the open sky, visitors eventually reach a sunny courtyard filled with a fresh, fragrant mist. In the middle of this open space there is a pavilion, housing an orangerie and a drinking room. Thanks to the pavilion's glass walls, we can feel a total integrity with the courtyard while being inside
