Roland Cowan Architects carried out a full fit-out and rear extension to a family home in South London. The ground floor was completely reconfigured around a wenge clad central partition containing a cloakroom, wc and stair, as well as integrated doors, hidden cupboards, and a recessed bespoke seat.
The extended area contains a bespoke kitchen designed by RCA, including a concrete worktop and rooflight above. Full height and width minimally framed sliding doors connect seamlessly with the re-landscaped garden behind, while a polished resin floor bounces light around the rear room.
