AAmp was commissioned by ArcLight Cinemas to design a 1,900 sf, 70-seat cocktail bar on the third level of their multiplex movie theatre in downtown Boston, MA.

The project is anchored by two elements: the primary bar core and the secondary banquette spine. Each element helps define the space while orienting the patrons toward the view. The rich blue material of the bar core wraps fully around to become a storefront and wayfinding device for the movie-goers.

The branding design we created in tandem with the space sets up a flexible family of branded text, symbols and line-types that accommodate its application across a wide array of printed and digital media formats.
