Located in the estern zone of the city of Londrina, in the north of Paraná, the Siamese Houses emerged from the idea of rethinking the traditional semi-detached house, widely explored in various cities in Brazil, seeking joint solutions for better use of space and cost reduction.
Comprising two vertical white volumes, featuring large recessed openings, supported on a wall covered in wood, the volumetry of the facade is highlighted by glass planes. Oriented towards the south face, these planes serve to provide indirect natural light to the four integrated environments on the ground floor, as well as to facilitate cross ventilation with openings on the north face.
The garage was separated from the main volumes and contrasts with them through a light horizontal line in masonry painted black, connecting to the floors through cylindrical pillars. In addition to the integrated social area, which includes the hall, TV room, dining room, kitchen, and gourmet area, the ground floor also houses the service area and the laundry room, isolated in a service sector to maximize the use of the social area. On the upper floor, there is the master suite, two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a powder room.
