Seven Gardens is a house arranged around a series of gardens that define spaces and follow time and seasons throughout the day and year. Perched on a hilltop in Eastern Washington, the north facing main living area has curtainwall glazing for maximum views of the rolling hills of the Palouse. Broad projecting eaves offer shelter from the hot summer sun and winter snow. Offset volumes connected by glass connectors allow gardens to weave through the house.
