Being a mall located in front of the sea, beside a river, we’ve tried to create an open place integrated with nature, denying the concept of a closed mall. Thus we created inner squares lined with a distinctive design living space, and all around we arranged the shops in a fragmented way. Among these blocks we’ve created the fragmented access into the mall, and they are also acting as wind channels, ensuring a flow of air in the corridors of the mall. All the shops are facing the inner squares, the corridors are covered by a concrete flap and along the canopy of bamboo which ensures greater shading. The blocks of stores have a pure form, having one of its faces inclined, working as a shading to the facade which is more exposed to sunlight. The food court is in an area facing the river with a nice wood deck in front of, acting as a place to admire the mountain’s view.
