The proposal for the competition of St.ª Luzia Wharf in Tavira previews the creation of a small platform adjacent to the side-walk and to the structure of the existing wharf, with a small ticket booth and a light metallic structure with shade. Given the characteristics of the site, the integration factor had a special attention to accomplish the adopted solution, trying to harmonize the chosen shapes and materials with the existing environment. Having in mind the seasonality and the functioning of the space, the ticket booth was thought as a wooden box that opens in the summer and closes by the sundown and at the end of the summer season, also, as the shading system.
