This building stands apart from trends and style. It resembles a serene white canvas, quietly enveloping the daily life that unfolds within. Much like a traditional courtyard house, it features a central courtyard measuring 15 feet in both length and width. Encircled by walkways and public spaces, the bedrooms occupy the southeast periphery. This layout allows family members to be aware of each other’s activities while ensuring adequate privacy.
In addition to the atrium, various openings and patios of different sizes gradually penetrate into the house, allowing people to experience the changes of light, wind, rain and four seasons. In this little universe, birds, clouds, moon and stars pass overhead, and every moment is eternity. The retired couple hope to spend their old age here, and several cherry blossom trees in front and back yard were planted by the hostess's father. After the new house was completed, they were transplanted back and continue to bloom for the family.
