The owners are an affluent entrepreneur couple, known for their diligence and integrity. Despite their busy work schedules, they lead a modest lifestyle. They aspire to have a simple yet charming space where they can unwind after work.
Therefore, we have chosen gray and white as the main tone. The accent walls and cabinets intentionally feature a combination of warm materials such as stucco, wood veneers, titanium plated stainless steel plates, and translucent stone veneers. This composition creates a solid and warm texture. The white, corner-rounded ceiling, along with the deep gray kitchen, allows natural light and shadow to transition seamlessly. This creates a sense of space that extends infinitely in two directions, enhancing the overall visual experience.
The era of just seeking shelter from the wind and rain is long gone. The aesthetics of space is the driving force to continuously improve the quality of life; it restarts people's perception of the environment, thereby bringing spiritual satisfaction and comfort.
We always hope to use simple geometry to express our understanding of space, so that the unique charm of materials can be fully demonstrated in the details, both in spirituality and materiality.
