The site is located in Shanghai, China. The space is designed to accommodate various functions, including office work, client reception, and live streaming activities.
This design proposal is centered on the principles of sustainability, modularity, and flexibility, aiming to create a modern space that is highly adaptable, environmentally friendly, and functionally diverse.
In the public area, the walls are inspired by the concept of exhibition panels and are equipped with built-in滑轮 systems at the base, allowing for free movement and reconfiguration of the layout. These walls integrate shelving and display functions, fulfilling practical needs while providing the space with a high degree of variability and dynamism. Furthermore, an innovative movable partition system has been introduced in the large open space. Through flexible sliding doors, the expansive area can easily be divided into one or multiple independent zones, quickly accommodating various functional requirements such as meetings, events, and exhibitions, significantly enhancing spatial efficiency and scenario versatility.
In terms of material selection, the emphasis on sustainability is reflected in the extensive use of eco-friendly materials such as wood, polycarbonate, cotton-linen, and natural stone. These materials balance tactile quality with ecological performance, creating a natural, healthy, and warm atmosphere.
The conference room area draws inspiration from architectural massing and adopts a modular construction approach. This not only reduces on-site construction time but also uses three-dimensional composition and enclosure techniques to create an outdoor-like spatial experience within the interior, enhancing users' sense of place and immersion.
Overall, the integration of movable walls, flexible partitions, sustainable materials, and modular elements demonstrates a thoughtful consideration of spatial efficiency, ecological awareness, and future adaptability.
