Although occupying only a part of the area inside a restaurant located behind a hypermarket, the building possesses a remarkable advantage in its privacy and tranquillity. An upgraded renovation transforms this modern wine showroom into a fancy private rendezvous for business interactions as well as a favourite casual haunt in a rustic ambience of lights, music and flavours of fine wines.
The Rustic Wine Cellar demonstrates a real understanding of the importance of natural light and the harmony of layout in proper wine storage. All were carefully studied together with the advantage of the current state of availability in a cost-efficient manner for investors and thereby gradually formed the plan. The internal functions are designed in a minimalist style to not only meet the needs of the investor, but also ensure a close connection with the surrounding auxiliary works.
Materials, colours, light are the vital elements that associate the functional parts of the building together. Beside ethnic patterns and motifs, each handcrafted wood piece is tailor-made in meticulous detail, which breathed new life into structures without losing “the unmistakable character” of the investors, the manufacturers and the designers. Moreover, the light is cleverly adjusted and deliberately targets special glories so that it feels more warm and comfortable.
