White House is a project to renovate and expand an old 3-floor house. The architectural solutions adopted in the project considering the local climatic characteristics which is tropical, hot and humid.
This project is designed for a family of 2 generations and an ancestral worship space. The significant purpose is to maximize the interaction and communication among members.
The renovated solution is based on the existing house structure, creating more buffer space and totally change the house's appearance. All areas exposing to the scorching sun and high temperature are converted into balconies and green corridors throughout. This corridor is a buffer to reduce the impact of sunlight, and reduce heat radiation into the house. The plan also increases privacy and tranquility for the project. With that, the space in the room respectively can have view of green landscape, creating harmony between people and nature.
The facade plan with idea of hollow blocks is providing numerous different size of arched windows that brings rhythm for the architecture.
In the ground floor area, the architect removed unnecessary partition walls to maximize ventilation. The area has become more spacious and interconnected than before, a common living space large enough for family routine activities.
For the 1st and 2nd floor areas, the design team has determined a plan to minimize utilities in the house and maximize green nature. Green corridors are surrounding along all the private areas to capture daylight throughout the year.
With solutions for space, landscape and function, Tay Ninh White House not only brings a fresh appearance but also ensures a comfortable life for the homeowner.
