RUSH, an emerging island lifestyle brand. The management team hopes that this seaside tavern can inspire people who come here to rush towards freedom and nature from the steel and cement forest of the city, to coexist harmoniously with nature in a corner of the seaside beach, and to stimulate people’s imagination and emotional connection, creating a lively and passionate joyful time. How to convey the brand’s values through the construction of architecture, and make traditional leisurely seaside vacations more vibrant and passionate, is the design starting point of our project.
“Ice cubes “are the soul of cocktail making. By placing different shapes of ice into the corresponding wine, the soul of the wine will be awakened, and the timeless aroma of the wine will follow. So we thought of the concept of ‘cut ice cubes’. The “ice cube” boxes scattered on the beach are connected by lightweight corridors, forming irregular planar contours. The building has unique and high recognition at every angle, creating different aesthetic compositions.
How to make food, wine, and beach leisure the main themes of seaside life, we will focus on how to connect the three main functional blocks of bar, kitchen, and shower in our design. The color of the “ice cubes” can also define the atmosphere of the night venue and choose the best color combination according to different time periods and event themes. At the blue Hour of the evening by the seaside, the semi transparent box on the porch is lit up like cut “ice cubes” on the beach, forming a natural connection between the brand image and the architectural form. The “shower” space is also a “special limitation” of this project, a space full of wrapping feeling, with three folding mirrors projecting the surrounding sea, beach, and coconut groves. After enjoying themselves at the seaside, visitors can immerse themselves in a conversation with nature here.
We have chosen Arcanista font as the main visual element for our brand, located at No. 81 Jianshe Nanxin Road, Chenghua District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. The RUSH brand’s visual inspiration comes from the symbol totem elements that represent originality, nature, and mystery. As a symbolic symbol, it is usually associated with natural elements, animals, or mythical creatures. They not only represent a spiritual connection, but also embody reverence and longing for nature. People rush towards freedom and nature from the steel and cement forests of the city.
