Inspired by the elements of air travel, the new Rimowa store at One Central Macao offers an airy and ethereal experience.
Wrapped in aluminum with Rimowa’s signature grooves reminiscent of the first all-metal aircraft, the shopfront bears Rimowa’s timeless brand identity to welcome customers.
The streamlined interior ensures a smooth and soothing experience. The illuminating oculi in the ceiling are inspired by airplane windows. Crafted in the form of propellers, the tables below are specially designed for product demonstration. Various types of shelving are suspended between the cloud-like ceiling and flooring, all tailored to showcase different product series from suitcases to bags and accessories.
The sleek white shelves and aluminum cabinets are balanced off by the warm timber walls and shelves engraved with Rimowa’s grooves, enhancing the sense of comfort in the store.
