Views of the club house which is part of the residential complex at Hazira. At the back is a swimming pool which was enclosed with the help of a stone-clad wall, in a courtyard like space with lounging facilities all around. The purpose of the enclosure was to provide some privacy for the pool-users. The front and back facades of the complex are a study in contrast- while the front follows a semi- classical aesthetic ,the rear is simple , stone- clad and rugged. The aim was to make both of them appropriate to their surroundings- the front with the street and the other buildings in the vicinity, and the back with rolling lawns and shrubbery.
