In the Alameda Gateway project, Monjaraz
Serrano Arquitectos, is located the new branch of the Italo-Argentine
restaurant Spuntino. For the interior design of this new space in the historic
center of Mexico City, the architects Juan
Pablo Serrano and Rafael Monjaraz in collaboration with Edgar
Velasco de r-zero studio, decided to respect the nobility of
space and delicious sidewalk terrace, incorporating the contact of the busy
urban streets with the art of the process of preparing food.
Stresses the ceiling
made of wooden planks, in a rectilinear pattern traverses the space, creating
delicious prospects. In contrast on the floor, put a cement slab with a retro
design press manufactured by Streaky Sky. The lightness of the panel is
complemented by the drawing of the floor giving a wealth of shapes and textures
in space.
