The project is located at the corner of Rue des Carmélites and faces the south side of the Route du Rhin, opposite the Rivétoile Shopping Centre. It is thus located on the main urban development sector of the Strasbourg conurbation, from Heyritz to the Jardin des deux Rives.
The originality of the response provided by Habitat et Humanisme is to create a residence that meets the needs of three categories of tenants: low-income seniors, often isolated but not dependent, young adults, students or young workers with limited income and single-parent families with young children.
The project will comprise 45 housing units in a 5-storey building, divided into 15 studios of 20m², 15 - T1' of 28m² consisting of a living room and a bedroom, 6 - T2 of 48 m² and 9 - T3 of approximately 55 m², over a total living area of 1600 m². To these apartments will be added on the ground floor additional premises to reach a total floor area of 2300m². 22 parking spaces will be created on the surface. A shared garden and green areas will complete the project.
