This project is conceived as a seamless dialogue between landscape and architecture. Perched on a steep hillside overlooking the sea, this residence is a tectonic reading of the landscape. The design roots itself in the terrain with stone walls that echo traditional retaining structures, while concrete slabs and cantilevered volumes project outward, framing uninterrupted views of the horizon.
The architecture unfolds as a sequence of layered spaces that dissolve the threshold between inside and outside. Floor-to-ceiling glazing, shaded terraces, and open-air pergolas create a seamless flow, allowing nature to permeate the daily experience of living. From the quiet intimacy of the bedrooms to the expansive living areas, every space is oriented toward compelling vistas of sea and sky.
Materiality plays a central role in shaping the atmosphere. Rough stone grounds the project in its natural context, exposed concrete emphasizes horizontality and structural clarity, while warm wood accents introduce tactility and a sense of domesticity. Together, these elements establish a dialogue between permanence and lightness, earth and horizon.
The result is a dwelling that feels both protective and open — a place where architecture is not imposed on the landscape, but rather emerges from it, enabling a continuous and harmonious encounter between nature and living.
