The existing 1980's house is a 2,200sf, two story, timber frame, passive solar house. The clients wanted a new 1450sf addition that kept with the original design and passive solar concept. The addition would be comprised of a new entry, expanded living area, gradparents suite, two children's bedrooms, and laundry area. The design blends the new addition with the original style of the house as well as surrounding site while adding to the existing passive solar design.
