This “leftover” space in a residential condo building was deftly configured to create a unique office space for a real estate development firm. The small irregularly shaped area of 1,000 square feet was vertically activated with three changes to the floor level. The unfinished concrete ceiling and rugged wood flooring contrasts with the sleek while kitchen/storage system. It is, however, the glass conference area which is punches outside the building envelope into a serene garden. This expansion of the space provides an unusual level of visual and spatial relief for the three person business.
