Rashid Yachts and Marina, located in the heart of Dubai, UAE, epitomises a commitment to excellence in design, reflecting the opulence and sophistication of its surroundings.
Project Overview
SPECTRUM has been invited to create a concept design for the Facade Design Exercise for the mid-rise development project of Plot 2 and Plot 3 at Rashid Yachts and Marina. This project demands a high standard and level of design consideration that aligns with the prestigious context and the company's culture and values.
Look & Feel
The goal is to deliver a timeless design that translates into distinctive shapes, forms, and textures. The visual appeal is both contextual and unique, featuring a light, serene colour palette enriched with decorative elements to create a soothing and memorable ambience.
Every element, from materials and textures to colours and design solutions, is harmoniously balanced to embody luxury living and the ultimate lifestyle.
Materials & Textures
Careful attention to materials, textures, and patterns is essential to achieve the desired outcome. We've coordinated glazing colours with the recommended materials, using aluminium composite panels for vertical elements and GRCs for horizontal divisions and slab edges. A painted cement plaster finish has been selected for the façade treatment, complemented by lighter grey tempered glazing for the balusters.
Conclusion
The overall ambience of the building façade is designed to convey a sense of modern residential living that is both desirable and in demand. Each interior space will be meticulously designed with careful consideration for function, practicality, and the desired emotional impact.
