This house is part of a residential development of nine homes located in Puembo, Quito. Its design is rooted in the surrounding landscape, opening up to nature while preserving privacy. Organized on a single level, the architecture seamlessly connects indoor and outdoor spaces, anchored by a generous semi-covered social area that brings together family life and garden views.
The project blends warm materials like wood and brick with exposed steel, creating a cozy yet contemporary feel. Orientation and form respond to the valley’s climate, ensuring thermal comfort and energy efficiency.
As with all our work, we prioritized local labor, thoughtful land integration, and responsible resource use. A calm, functional architecture that honors everyday life through an honest and sensitive approach to dwelling.
