Qingshan Jiangtan is located on the south bank of the Yangtze River in Qingshan District, Wuhan City, and before the renovation in the second year, it was the location of the Wuhan Iron and Steel Wharf, the sand field and the grain wharf, which mainly undertook the functions of flood control and logistics. The landscape was transformed into the original embankment, which was inherent in the perception and freely transformed the contour line with the shape of the large gentle slope. And this,
The wedding hall is located in the middle of the Qingshan River Beach, and above the venue is the former CCCC Heavy Parts Wharf. The river beach renovation retained the dock and the crane above. At the beginning of landscape design, it was decided to use the grouping of plants to create different and dense relationships. Especially emphasized – not planting a single tree is soothing slope lawn space. I know: I do what I do, and I do it.
The height of the top of the embankment is higher than the height of the water platform on the riverside, and the gentle slope section blurs the height difference, making the beach terrain smooth like a natural hill. The wedding hall took advantage of this height difference to erect a landscape corridor between the top of the embankment and the large lawn by the river.
The architect rationally used the height difference and axis of the embankment to design a pattern of people and vehicles diversion, combined with the encirclement of plant communities, to create a gradual "detached from the world, yearning for purity" mood for the wedding to create a path. Inside the wedding hall, the pure white pattern, the sides are flush, and the middle is high. The frame along the river has no glass, pulling people's eyes to the wide river outside the window.
