FIRST PRIZE: ASPRIMA-SIMA 2017
Qhomes15 is located in a natural environment with unbeatable views of the Sierra de Guadarrama and the oak forest of Boadilla del Monte (Madrid). This scenario inspires the project: 15 single-family homes, facing south and the beautiful views all of them surrounded by landscaped, personalized spaces, adapting each house to the irregular geometry of the plot.
Optimizing, with this provision, the quality of outdoor spaces and the relationship between the houses, generating a dynamic overall image with rhythm and originality, proposing a new architectural solution to the type of the adjoining or terraced homes.
We created a uniform architectural complex, a project of 15 unique homes with careful architectural design forming an up-to-date and proportionate image. The houses are similarly resolved, respecting the South-East orientation of the main spaces and being adapted according to the access from the street that corresponds to each house which means that there are two types, one with access from the north and the other with access from the south.
On the ground floor, we find the "day area" with kitchen and office, large living room, guest toilet and a guest bedroom suite. The hallway together with the staircase and the interior garden, form the articulating axis of the whole house, and the filter of communication with the outside. The group of bedrooms and bathrooms with south orientation are in the upper plant
The basement floor is developed in a personalized way for each client. The functionality and versatility of the solution in the project floor allow the change and adaptation of each client's home, according to their preferences and needs.
The interior, bathed with light by large windows, participates in the interior Zen garden and generates spacious, clear and bright spaces, both in the Ground floor day zone as in the night area in First Floor. These windows allow framing the landscape from visual, taking full advantage of the light, and at the same time controlling the incidence in each season of the year through the flights and porches that generate volumes and ensure cross ventilation of interior spaces. Basic concepts of bioclimatic and contemporary architecture have helped to acquire a Class A energy classification in a natural way
In short, a very exclusive group of contemporary homes, flexible and adapted to the place, solving the single-family housing program, dignifying the attached typology, and adapting to the needs of the client.
