"Reinventing the small house and turning it into an office above and cozy living space with kitchen, toilet and bath below"
A former loft house, this modest structure was repurposed using scrap and excess construction materials. The A-frame roof was demolished to add a proper office on the second floor. All floor joists and roof frames were made from old steel scaffolding tubes. Corrugated steel sheets and old fiber glass panels were used as permanent support for concrete pouring of the roof slab. Old roof trusses were dismantled and welded to form vertical support for cinder block walling as well as roof beams.
The conversion will make way for a new bedroom accommodation for visitors below and SOHO (home office) above.
