Poly·Potalaka located in Zhujiajian, a national class 4A Tourist Spots in China. Facing Peach blossom Island and backing Daqingshan National Park. Various kinds of mountain and sea resources provide a rich coastal leisure life.
The total Gross Floor Area of this project is about 1.37 million square meters, based on the spatial hierarchy concept of "mountain-plain-village-shore-bay-sea", it concentrates on building Five-star hotels, Island dwellings, Water + Aviation double theme park, Coastal style street, Art space, Ecological farms, and Outward Bound 8 island resorts, integrating mountain and sea sports, waterfront experience, parent-child leisure, and local culture.
The architectural design of the project is led by GOA, following the concept of "harmonious symbiosis with the mountains and seas, blending with the local culture of Zhoushan", such as:
The architectural design of the sales center draws on the texture of seaside villages, and reproduces the characteristics of the island’s native settlements with roof combinations of different slopes, we fit the original texture of the coast with earthy colors, and uses large-area glass curtain walls to achieve a sense of unboundedness with mountains and seas.
The seaside style street is designed with the concept "village and sea" It extracts the characteristic elements of local fishing villages such as double-slope roofs, hard gables, terraces, etc. And then trough the evolution of topology, the functional space of the style street and the commercial space organically combined, so that it has both modernity and locality.
The architectural design of the visitor center starts from the concept of "paper airplane" , finally we use the "folding" spatial form to create a light and flexible architectural form, which stimulates the children's desire for exploration in the ups and downs of different spaces.
In the construction of landscape, we pay attention to the construction of the artistic conception of "free mountain and sea". Landscapes such as overlap bridges, dense forests, corridors, and waterscapes in a progressive way, leading the precipitation and sublimation of the viewer's mood.
Poly·Potalaka strives to build a multi-dimensional place through the rich and diverse cultural tourism business, community facilities, natural landscapes with mountains and seas, and culture. Forming a perfect human settlement system of self-contained ecology, to make an innovative demonstration for the sustainable development of human settlements in the future.
